GDPR management

Unatrix allows to manage the consent of contacts to store their data. This feature helps to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation. It can be activated in the settings.

GDPR Statuses

Contacts can have 3 different statuses:

  • Waiting for consent - Consent was requested.
  • Consent given - Contacts gave its consent.
  • Consent refused - Contacts refused to give its consent.

Managing consents

The consent of contacts can be changed through the toolbox using GDPR status. Several contacts can be processed at once. When adding a contacts, a GDPR consent status can be defined in the last section. In each situation, an email has to be sent to the contacts to request or confirm the consent. Several emails can be defined for each status, find more information here.

Displaying consents

GDPR consents are displayed using following indicators next to the name in the list view (mousing shows more details) and in the contacts overview.

The contacts data is automatically emptied once:

  • The consent expired without being renewed
  • The waiting for consent status expired
  • The consent was refused

You will find more information about emptying data here.

Filtering for contact consents

A dedicated filter section allows to filter for contacts in specific GDPR statuses. The top of the section displays the amount of contacts attributed to the user that will be emptied within this time range. Clicking on the link activates the filter options and lists these contacts.
