Adding profiles

Profiles can be added through various methods:

• By adding them to the database through the toolbox.
• By importing them from external pages through the browser extension.
• Through candidate applications on your career site.

Unatrix provides parsing features that read files as resumes and populate fields automatically. New profiles can be added through the Add profile link in the toolbox within the profile module.

This link leads to an add form divided in different sections, in which the profile data can be completed. The fields in this form can be customised in the settings with appropriate permissions.

Parsing features allow to populate fields based on uploaded documents, avoiding to enter them manually.

Once uploaded, files can be parsed by using the Scan link. The parser looks for personal data and skills (languages, competencies, tools) and completes the corresponding fields automatically. Populated data can be updated in this view before saving. Additional data can also be added in this step.

If enabled, a parser provided by Textkernel can be used as well. This service allows to automatically populate professional experiences and education data on top of personal data and skills. It also reads files in image formats, as .JPG or .PNG.

After uploading and scanning the file with Textkernel, a split window appears. The scanned document is displayed on the left, while the parsed data is displayed on the right, grouped in different tabs (Personal details, Education, Work experience and Other).

Once populated, the user will be able to verify the data before saving. Clicking on the right side of the screen highlights the source data in the scanned document. Additional data can also be added in this step.

The data can be confirmed through the arrow icon at the top of the screen.

GDPR status

This section allows to manage the consent of the profile to store its data, if the GDPR feature is enabled. Based on the status selected, an email template has to be used to request the profile’s consent or to confirm it.

The Save link adds the profile to the database. After saving the profile, additional fields are available in the profile overview.
