Projects actions
The ability to carry out the commands and actions described here depends on the Permissions of the respective User.
Add Project
To add a new Project, all that is required is the description. If the client contact is already contained in the system, this field can be filled in using Autocomplete.
(De)Activate
Projects can be manually activated and deactivated. Deactivated projects remain in the system with all their information, but are not taken into account in default searches.
Status
The status of the project can be changed using this command. The procedure is documented in the Infobox.
Attribute (User)
Projects can be assigned to a different User.
Orders
Orders can be added, with the corresponding data such as Order Number, Start and End Dates.

Assignments
Employee assignments can also be filed with the corresponding data.

Quotations
The related quotation can be filed with a project. The system then automatically generates quotation numbers, consisting of the initials plus a sequential number. If the project is linked with a Need, the associated quotation will be suggested for selection.
Delete
Projects can be manually deleted at any time.
Projects detailed view
The overall details of a Project are divided into sections in this view. By clicking on the respective section (General Information, Project data etc.) these details are displayed or rolled back up. On the right side of these sections, the User can edit data and add data (NB: the ability to edit Projects depends on the authorisation rights of the respective User).
In the upper part of this view, various files can be saved via Uploads. A green or red dot above the Uploads area shows whether the Project is currently “active” or “inactive”.
Uploads
All current file formats (.doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, .html, etc) can be uploaded under “Uploads”.
General Information
In this section the project can first be allocated a description. The name of the Author is initially taken as that of the responsible User, but can be changed manually.
The project can also be linked with a Need. The related Client Contact can be added using Autocomplete, if this data is already available. The Need data is then imported automatically into the fields of the project.
Project Data
The Project Start Date and End Date and the related Quotation can be filed in this area. Information about an existing Order can be processed with the command “Order” in the Toolbox.

Sorting
Sorting can be performed according to the following criteria: Most Recent, Project Start, Alphabetical, Order End
Projects/page: the User can specify the number of projects displayed per page. This setting is automatically saved.

List View (Short View)
The List View gives the User an initial summary with the main information. The mouseover function (pause the mouse briefly over the respective line) provides access to further details. The check box (alongside the description) allows Projects to be selected, before carrying out specific actions from the Toolbox.
The List View consists of three columns:
Left column:
General information, e.g. Location, Client, and the User responsible.
Centre column:
The centre column gives details of the key data, e.g. Project start and end dates, purchase order end date, and contract type.
Right column:
The right-hand column contains all the details of the latest actions (History) listed in chronological order. Here too, the mouseover function provides access to further details within a specific entry.
Projects filter
Individual projects can be created under the menu item Projects. A client contact can be assigned to every project. Projects can be prioritised and activated or deactivated as required. Quotations, orders and assignments can also be documented for the project in question.
The filter permits to search within the Projects database. Geographic searching is carried out via the Location Search. The “Scope” field permits searching by projects from a specific User.
Actions Filter
In this filter area, the User can filter by specific process entry “Actions” and their Validities.
